School

Of course, we had lots of traffic going to school. At the entrance to the parking lot, there was a line of 20 or so cars outside the area. Inside, there were about 50, more or less. All my teachers were nice and pleasant, even my Spanish teacher. (We've had a history of not-so-nice Spanish teachers, in general.) I went through the confusing day, trying to figure out where on Earth all the classes were. You probably know the infinitely embarrasing feeling when you come into class late. Everyone is working and then you come in. Everybody, including the teacher, who gives you a stern look and then acts affable, stares at you for about 2 seconds and then gets back to work while the teacher deals with you. Luckily, I was only late for one class, and the teacher was actually very understanding. It was LA(Language Arts) At the end of the day, I had aquired 2 hours of homework! I know. That's not much for a 7th grader but I guess we got off lucky. :)
The second day was exactly like the first other than the fact that no one was lost this time. I have asked lots of people, and they tell me that 7th grade is hard, 8th grade is harder, and that high school is better than either of the former. My World Studies teacher, Mr. Zetterquist, told us his perspective. He allowed as to that teachers were as eager to get back to summer as the students, and that he just thought of every day of going to school as another day closer to summer! :) It does make school seem nicer. School, the dark lair of the "Yellow and Green Monster of Rusted Steel", isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
